Bricks, light and Monet
What happens when art meets architecture? Where were installations invented? Where did abstract expressionism learn about endlessness? That rare thing- a warm, unpretentious review, of reconstruction, light and a rather long painting.

Nice post, I think they need each other.
thanks. and that's a nice way of putting it. art and architecture need each other:-)
Thankyou for this link. I fell in love with Monet's water lillies when we visited musee de Orsay a few years ago. I have never attempted painting after 5th grade, but when I saw the water lillies, how I wished I had painted them! It was a pecuiar feeling, I have never felt that about any other paintings. Now I feel I HAVE to go and see this. The article has been written with such passion!
my pleasure:-) welcome. u could still paint, u know. all it takes is buying some canvas and pigment. haven't done the paris gallery round ourselves, but hope to get there soon, if all goes well.
nevermind, no space for comments in the latest post. are you being published in the lancet or some such? woohoo! congratulations:)
whoa, not the lancet. thanks:-)
